Do I need a website if I’m on Checkatrade?

It’s worth having both. Your directory profile sits next to your competitors; your website is only about you, and it’s yours. Link the two so customers can check your reviews and your work.

Can you show my Gas Safe or NICEIC number?

Yes. We show your registration numbers, accreditations and insurance details where customers will see them.

Can I add photos of my work from my phone?

Yes. Log in to your Portal on your phone, tap a photo on your website, swap it for a new one and press Publish. Or send photos to us and we’ll add them.

Will I show up when people search “[trade] near me”?

We set your website up to give you the best chance: a page for each main service, the areas you cover, and your Google Business Profile linked properly. Nobody can honestly promise you’ll be top of Google, but you’ll start on solid ground, and we keep helping after you go live.
