New Door Fitter Website for Premier Doors in Norfolk

Premier Doors, a door fitter covering Norfolk and Suffolk, now has its own website, with real fitted doors, every Google review and pages for the towns people search. Here's what we built and why, with screenshots.

Premier Doors hangs doors in homes across Norfolk and Suffolk: oak and painted internal doors, front, back and stable doors, and the handles, hinges and locks that finish them. Its customers already said it best on Google, naming Ed and Micky in review after review. Now Premier Doors has a website to send people to.

Here is what we built, with screenshots from the live site, and why each part is there.

Say what you fit, and where, in the first screen

Someone searching for a door fitter wants to know three things straight away: do they do my kind of door, do they cover my area, and how do I get a price? The homepage answers all three before you scroll. The headline reads "Internal and external doors, fitted properly, across Norfolk and Suffolk", and two buttons go straight to a quote or a call.

The photo is a real door Premier Doors fitted, framed in an arch that echoes the door in the logo. The navy and gold run through the whole site, built around the Premier Doors logo.

Start with the kind of door you need

A door fitter's customers usually know what they want: new doors inside, a new front or stable door, or just better handles. So the homepage asks them to pick their door, and each choice has its own page saying what is included and how the job is priced.

There is a fourth card for anyone who isn't sure. They can describe the job or send photos, and Premier Doors will point them the right way.

Show the fitting, not just the door

Anyone can buy an oak door. What a customer is paying for is the fitting: even gaps all the way round, hinges sitting flush and architrave that meets cleanly at the corners. The website says that in plain words, and the Our work page backs it up with photos of real jobs, as they were left on the day. No staging.

The page also tells visitors what to look for in the photos, so they know what good work looks like before they choose who to hire.

Let the reviews do the talking

Premier Doors' reviews are the strongest thing it has. Customers write about doors hung quickly and tidily, at the price quoted, and name the people who did the work. One customer had been let down by another fitter; another came back for two more doors.

So every Google review is quoted in full on its own page, word for word, with a link to read them on Google. The homepage and the town pages show a few of them too.

Answer the price question honestly

Door fitting is priced job by job, so there is no honest flat rate to put on a website. Instead, the homepage explains what moves the price: how many doors, internal or external, supply and fit or fit only, the type of door, and whether the frames need replacing.

A four-step timeline shows how a job runs, from sending photos to measuring up, a written quote and fitting day. By the time someone gets in touch, they know what to expect.

Pages for the towns people search

People search for "door fitter Norwich" or "internal doors Wymondham", not "door fitter Norfolk and Suffolk". So Norwich, Wymondham, Attleborough, Poringland and Diss each have their own page, written about that town and the villages around it, with the reviews and answers to local questions.

An areas page lists the towns across both counties, and asks anyone near the edge to send their postcode for a straight answer.

Built for the phone in someone's hand

Most people looking for a tradesperson are on their phone, often standing in the hallway looking at the door they want to replace. On a phone, Call and Get a quote buttons stay at the bottom of the screen, and WhatsApp makes it easy to send photos of the doorways for a quicker price.

The enquiry form asks for the things a fitter needs to price a job: the type of door, how many, and the town or postcode.

Behind the scenes, every page has its own title and description, and the site tells Google that this is a door fitter covering Norfolk and Suffolk. That gives Premier Doors a sound footing in local search. Rankings still take time, and we won't promise a position.

What trades can take from this

If you're a tradesperson, Premier Doors shows what a good trade website needs:

  • Say what you do and where in the first screen.
  • Give each service its own page.
  • Show real photos of your work, not stock images.
  • Put your reviews where people can read them in full.
  • Explain what affects your price, even if you can't give one.
  • Make it easy to call, message or send photos from a phone.
